Michael has worked in the trade association world for many years, firstly with the British Retail Consortium, before moving to the Food and Drink Federation in 1996. In January 2000 he took up the role of Secretary General to the Federation of European Rice Millers (FERM) in Brussels, moving back to the UK with PFMA in early 2004. Michael has a degree in Politics from Durham University and an MA in European Studies from South Bank University.  Michael and his family share their home with two cats Sooty and Sweep.

Nicole manages the PFMA press office and co-ordinates the PFMA Communications Committee - the committee responsible for driving the Association's communications strategy. Nicole's role is also active in promoting animal health and welfare working with organisations such as National Pet Month, the Society of Companion Animal Studies (SCAS) and the Pet Health Council. LANA OLIVER - Technical And Regulatory Affairs Manager

Lana is the PFMA Technical and Regulatory Affairs Manager, dealing with all technical and legislation issues, acting as an intermediary between Government and the industry, and providing advice to members. Lana co-ordinates the technical working parties at PFMA as well as the Review Committee.



SARAH HORMOZI - Science and Education Manager

Sarah joined PFMA in 2011 as the Veterinary and Nutrition Executive and was promoted to the Science and Education Manager in 2016. Sarah runs a number of PFMA Committees and Working Groups including Veterinary/Nutrition Committee, Bird and Small Animal Groups. Part of her role is to keep abreast of developments in areas such as veterinary medicine/science and animal nutrition. Networking and representing PFMA’s interest to stakeholders such as veterinary associations, universities and pet charities also form an important part of her role. Sarah is the proud owner of Levin, a Shetland sheepdog.
